Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland’s No Life Half Lived delivers vital services to people in Scotland who are living with the effects of chest, heart or stroke conditions.
After a diagnosis of a chest or heart condition or a stroke, many people experience fear and isolation and struggle with the impact on their lives.
Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland won’t stand for that. The care and support we deliver every day ensures everyone can live the life they want to
No Life Half Lived Community Support Services provide support for anyone who has had any of the 3 conditions as they leave hospital, return home and resume daily life.
The aim of the services is to help you to overcome or cope with the damage caused by your condition so that you can focus on enjoying life again. You will be supported and helped to relearn or adapt skills so that you can be as independent as possible.
We do this through our group services and one-to-one support in the community. Services range from communication support for people, who are finding it difficult to speak, read, write or understand what other people are saying after suffering a stroke, through to services for people affected in different ways such as problems with movement, vision, memory or thinking.
We are here to listen to you and support you to achieve your personal goals during your recovery. Contact us for more information on any of our chest, heart or stroke services within Inverclyde.
