Covid-19 Update All Inverclyde Leisure facilities are closed until further notice. The Live Active referral scheme is a joint partnership between Inverclyde leisure and NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde. We look to support participants of the scheme to become more active and manage their weight. Started in 1997 in response to GP requests, the scheme has continued to grow and help many people increase their level of physical activity, improve weight management and equip participants with core skills to lead an active life. The main aim of Live Active is to improve the health of the residents of Inverclyde by: - Increasing physical activity levels by assisting participants to become more active and supporting them to gain the knowledge, tools and confidence to lead a physically active life. - Improving participants weight by supporting participants to address weight management behaviours via physical activity and health eating. - Improving overall health by supporting participants to address other health behaviours such as smoking, healthy eating and alcohol.
